04 Focus on Something

Focus on something. As with the mere spell, you can choose to look at something, focus on it, and get you into a deeper level of consciousness. This is one of the ways to squint and many people find that if they find a point of view for their eyes, they will be more likely to enter deep consciousness.

You can choose to look at anything, but many people think that staring at the candle is the most comfortable. You can also choose images such as crystals, flowers, saints or statues – such as Buddha statues.

Put that kind of thing at your line of vision so that you can look at it with your head and neck completely relaxed. Gaze at it until the field of view outside the focus is blurred, leaving it in the field of vision.

If you are concentrating on such things, you will feel that you have entered a deep calm without any foreign object interference.

Learn to Imagine

Learn to imagine. Imagination is also a common way of meditation. Use this method to simulate a peaceful scene in your mind and explore it gradually until you get complete peace. You can simulate this scene according to your own preferences. You don’t have to imagine how realistic it should be. You should adjust it according to your own situation.

You can imagine a warm sandy beach, a flowery meadow, a quiet forest or a cozy living room with a fire. No matter what scene you imagine, turn it into a temple of your heart.

Once you enter the Temple, you can begin to explore. You don’t have to create the environment around them because they already exist. Let your thoughts go one step ahead.

Pay attention to the sights, sounds and smells in the Temple – feel the light breeze that passes by, and the flame warms the heat of the body. As long as you like, you want to stay in the temple for a long time, let it naturally expand and perfect, become more real. If you want to leave the Temple, take a few deep breaths and then open your eyes.

Remember, the next time you imagine meditation, you can go back to the same place and imagine a new scene. Any scene you imagine should fit your own situation, and they are the reflection of your individual personality.

06 Perform a Body Scan

Body scanning refers to consciously focusing on a certain part of the body, scanning the whole body one by one, and consciously relaxing them. This simple way of meditation will relax your brain while relaxing your body.

Close your eyes and choose to start from a part of your body. Usually you can choose to start from your toes. Focus on receiving the feelings from the toes and consciously relax any tight muscles. After completely relaxing your toes, turn your attention to the entire foot and repeat the relaxing steps.

Follow this method to relax each part from the bottom to the top, feet, calves, knees, thighs, buttocks, abdomen, chest, back, shoulders, arms, palms, fingers, neck, face, ears and head. The length of time depends on your preference.

After you have relaxed each part of your body, focus on your entire body and enjoy the pleasure of total calm and relaxation. Finally, take a few minutes of rest with your breath before ending your meditation.

07 Try Heart-wheel Meditation

Try heart-shaped meditation. The heart wheel is one of the seven chakras of the human body, the seven energy centers. The heart wheel is located in the middle of the chest and corresponds to love, compassion, peace and tolerance. Heart-shaped meditation can help you feel these emotions and communicate them to the outside world.

First, close your eyes and rub your hands and palms until heat and energy are generated. Then place your right hand over the center of the chest and the left hand over it.

Take a deep breath and whisper the word Yum when exhaling. This is the resonance syllable corresponding to the heart wheel. Imagine a glowing green energy coming out of your chest and into your palm.

The green energy of this group is love, life and other positive emotions you feel at this moment. When you are ready, remove your hands from your chest and release the energy from your palms to your cherished people and the world.

Feel your body from the inside. Can you feel the energy field inside your body, especially your arms and legs? If you cannot feel it, that does not matter. But please think about it: Why can we drive different parts of the body? It is because there is a flowing energy field inside our body. Focusing on the energy field inside the body will not only help you maintain your current state, but also make you feel the vitality of your existence and flow in your body.

08 Try Walking Meditation

Try walking meditation. Walking meditation is also a method of meditation. The meditation person feels the close connection between his body and the earth by experiencing the walking gait. If you plan to have a long sit-in meditation, it would be a good idea to alternate some walking meditations.

Choose a place that is suitable for walking meditation. The less interference, the better. This place does not have to be wide, but you can at least go straight seventy steps without turning. If possible, it is best to take off your shoes.

Raise your head and look straight ahead, with your hands in front of you. The right foot is slow and calmly takes a step. Do not worry about any feelings that come from your feet, focus your attention on the action of walking. After taking the first step, slow down and take the second step. Under no circumstances should both feet act together.

When you reach the end, stop and stabilize your posture. Then, first out your right foot and turn around. Returning in the same way, the same, when walking, you must be as slow and calm as before.

In the process of walking meditation, try to focus on the movement of your feet instead of other things, just as you focus your attention on breathing. Sweep away the distracting thoughts in your mind and feel the relationship between your feet and the earth under your feet.
