03 Stomach maintenance using the dietary technique

First of all, we are not talking about a weak spleen and stomach in the general sense, the kind of weak spleen and stomach that is so weak that even after eating a bowl of noodles, the stomach will feel bloated, and eating a few tomatoes will cause diarrhea.

People with weak spleen and stomach should eat regularly with fixed quantities at fixed times. Overeating is strictly prohibited. Such persons usually should eat more easily digestible foods. They should try to avoid irritating and indigestible foods, such as fried, raw and cold foods.

Japonica rice is neutral in nature and has the effect of invigorating the spleen and replenishing qi.

If the spleen and stomach are weak, you can eat more yellow foods, such as corn, potatoes, crucian carp soup, barley, etc. They are all very good choices for regulating the spleen and stomach.

In general, people with weak spleen and stomach may eat more yam and similar foods to strengthen the spleen. However, if your spleen and stomach are deficient and cold, it is recommended that you eat less, because Chinese yam helps dampness, and people with weak spleen and stomach should not eat it.

Similar to this, there are beef, red dates, pumpkins, peanuts, guyuan cream, wolfberry and other things. These are indeed effective for nourishing blood and kidneys for ordinary people or people with weak spleen and stomach. However, for people with severe deficiency of spleen and stomach, it is not helpful. On the contrary, it may increase the burden.

04 Barley
