Adjusting Type A Body Constitution

As practitioners of life cultivation, we like to adjust our body so that our body is in perfect balance and we are in perfect health. The Type A constitution is referred to as the Pinghe Type, or the Neutral and Balanced type. This type of body constitution is the perfectly healthy body. All other types of body constitution is deviation from the Pinghe type.

We will differentiate the basic characteristics of each constitution type. We will then discuss how we can adjust our body so that they become the Type A constitution.

Herbal medicine is a practical science. In the long course of its development, many schools and branches of herbal medicine have undergone changes. However, with the progress of time, herbal medicine has evolved with time, although many people still misunderstand herbal medicine.

We may sum up herbal medicine with just one sentence.

Classification of body constitution

The classification of body constitution is a relatively new concept. It was developed in the last thirty years.

Let us ask ourselves. Is our body a teddy bear or a fine lady? Although everyone looks human on the outside, they are very different inside. With the onslaught of various bad lifestyles, we have developed mental stress leading to hair loss, inability to sleep and poop, etc. There are fewer and fewer healthy people.

Many people will say that humans are living longer now compared to that of a caveman and that is a good sign. But which is more important, quality of life or length of life? Actually, it’s all important.

If we spend the rest of our life in bed, is it not a tragedy?

Thus, we will look into different types of body constitution, and the adjustment thereof.

Let us recap the different types of body constitution below.

  1. Type A Pinghe (Normal, Typical, Neutral, Balanced Type)
  2. Type B Qixu (Energy-deficient Type)
  3. Type C Yangxu (Yang-deficient Type)
  4. Type D Yinxu (Yin-deficient Type)
  5. Type E Tanshi (Phlegm-moisture Type)
  6. Type F Shire (Moisture-heat Type)
  7. Type G Xueyu (Blood-stasis Type)
  8. Type H Qiyu (Energy-depressed Type)
  9. Type I Tebing (Special-intrinsic Type)

Well, these nine body constitution types all have different characteristics, manifestations, and specific disease tendencies, and there are corresponding lifestyle intervention methods.

We will share the knowledge and we hope everyone can sit down and take decisive measures as soon as possible. That way we hope to have the body of an eighteen years old again no matter how old we are now.

Characteristics of a Type A Body

This is a perfectly healthy and normal person. We say he is in a homeostasis state. We try to do our best to attain such a body constitution during our life span.

Characteristics of Type A Body Constitution include:

  • Moderate physique, well-proportioned and strong.
  • The eyes are full of spirit, the hair is dark and bushy, and the complexion is ruddy.
  • Not easy to fatigue, full of energy.
  • Normal pooping and urination.
  • Sleep well.
  • Pulse slow but strong.
  • Easy going and sunny.
  • Easily adapt to natural and social environments. Not easily sick.

Adjusting Type A Body

Since this is the standard, the best, body constitution, we do not want to adjust it. Any adjustment will make it worse. We just want to maintain the body in its present state.

The way to maintain a healthy body is to eat the right food, sleep well, poop well, do moderate exercises, and follow a healthy lifestyle.
